vernakuláris [a.: vernacular; n.: Umgangssprache]

A vernakuláris a nyelvnek az a – rendszerint a standard változattól eltérő – formája, melyet a beszélők otthonról hoznak, tökéletesen tudnak és spontán, természetes és reflektálatlan (unmonitored) módon használnak az ugyanezen vernakuláris forma többi beszélőjével folytatott társalgásaikban.
